Attention Florida Dog Owners:
Is your dog misbehaving? Jumping, barking, pulling on the leash? Better Obedience K9 Training can help!
At our professional home based dog training location, we offer a balanced training approach, and customized training programs tailored to each dog's unique needs. We focus on addressing specific concerns of dog owners, ensuring that our training effectively tackles behavioral issues, and teaching better behaviors and obedience your dog understands. Our approach has successfully transformed the lives of many past clients and their dogs, consistently delivering results that help owners fully enjoy their canine companions.
We strive to make every experience with us as easy and enjoyable as possible. We not only focus on training, but confidence building and socialization as well. Our training programs are not designed to be limiting for your dog. Although management is extremely important, We also want your dog to still be a dog. It’s detrimental to provide mental and physical stimulation in many ways so that your dog is not struggling to retain training when they are not genetically satisfied.
One way that we provide physical and mental exercise is through adventure. We frequently explore trails, stores, parks, and other environmentally enriching locations. Your dog will not be treated unfairly in our care and most importantly, we will provide frequent updates to show you just how much fun training or boarding can actually be.

MEET THE TRAINER
Owner/Head Trainer: Rayna
I'm a passionate and dedicated dog trainer with over nine years of experience in the pet care industry. I started my journey as a veterinary technician, where I developed a deep understanding of animal behavior and discovered the importance of balanced dog training techniques. This sparked my desire to shift gears and dive into dog training, and I’ve been making a positive impact on dogs and their owners ever since.
In 2014, I became certified through the Animal Behavior College, which really helped me refine my skills and deepen my knowledge in the field. I’m always eager to learn and stay current with the latest training methods and tools, so I make it a point to attend several seminars each year. From detection and tracking seminars to sport dog, e-collar, and even K9 decoy workshops, I’m committed to bringing the best techniques to my clients.
My approach emphasizes balanced training and building a strong bond between dog and owner. I love inspiring owners to take an active role in their dog’s training and development—it's all about teamwork!
My commitment to animal welfare and excellence in training has earned me a reputation as a trusted and respected trainer in the industry. I’m continually inspired by the transformative power of balanced dog training, and I’m excited to help more dogs and their owners achieve their full potential.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHERE WILL MY PET STAY?
Your pup will stay with me inside my home. I treat all dogs like my own and ensure they are comfortable and happy at all times.
HOW OFTEN WILL MY PET BE TRAINING THROUGHOUT THE DAY?
Your dog will get multiple training sessions throughout the day with a combination of play time and confidence building in new environments at least every other day. I also do plenty of neighborhood walks.
WILL I GET TO VISIT MY DOG DURING THE BOARD AND TRAIN?
Typically it is not neccessary for pet parents to visit while their pups are staying with me for a board and train. If you feel that it is necessary to check in on your dog and the videos I provide are not enough, we can work something out so that you have peace of mind and your dog’s training is not interupted or delayed. I always want owners to feel comfortable and confident that their furry family members are being taken care of.
WILL I GET UPDATES WHILE MY PET IS AWAY?
Yes! I strive to be as transparent as possible and ensure owners get the reassurance they need while their pup is away from home. I will update you with photos, videos, and texts to show you the progress of training.
WILL MY DOG NEED TO BE IN A CRATE?
Yes, all dogs that come in for a board and train program will be crated at night and any time I need to leave the house without them. Although I will be around your dog and handling your dog 90% of the time, crate training is essential to teach boundaries and protect dogs from self sabotaging. I need to make sure all dogs are safe and monitored during their stay away from home, but dont worry, I do my best to get your pup comfortable with the crate and new routine.
